Cold, ruthless gang lord Roman Castellano rules the port’s smuggling network and lives only to protect his sensitive young son Leo. Mute young man Kai takes the nanny job to pay off his late mother’s heavy debt. Leo and Roman repeatedly set harsh traps to test Kai’s loyalty, yet he survives every trial with calm toughness. After Roman witnesses Kai covering up his murder of a traitor, he offers an ultimatum: marry him or die. Kai refuses at first, but gradually wins Leo’s trust by seeing through his hidden obsession with his father. Roman grows obsessed with Kai’s quiet stubbornness amid constant emotional tension and rivals’ schemes.
